This is the first book to receive a 5 out of 5 review on this site. A family member, knowing that I am a fan of Glenn Beck, found this book at a thrift store and bought it for me. It took less than one week for me to read, but it is perhaps the best book I have read to date.
"Common Sense" was published before Glenn Beck's other book, "Arguing With Idiots". While "Arguing With Idiots" is an excellent read for any conservative, I enjoyed this one even more. This is one of the first books that I would recommend to anyone who likes to read thought-provoking books.
In this book, Glenn Beck has outdone himself yet again. The subtitle says it all: in this book, Glenn Beck provides his case against our out-of-control government. Just as Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" helped spark a revolution, I believe that this book may do the same thing. This time, it will not be a bloody revolution, but one of morals and convictions.
This book is short enough to be read in a week, yet will have an impact on you that will last a lifetime. I don't just encourage you to read it. I challenge every single American to read this. This is one book you will not forget.
